Methodology
The calculator uses average 2026 US rates for sponsored creator content on each platform.
The calculator turns a budget into views with an average cost per 1,000 views (CPM), then into clicks with an average click-through rate (CTR). The number of posts per creator tier divides those views by the views a typical sponsored post gets in that tier.
Rates
- Instagram: $30 CPM, 1% CTR. Reels and Stories, link sticker.
- YouTube: $25 CPM, 0.5% CTR. Integrations in mid-length videos, link in the description.
- TikTok: $15 CPM, 1% CTR. Sponsored videos, link in bio.
Creator tiers
Micro-influencers have 10K–100K followers, mid-tier influencers 100K–500K and macro-influencers 500K–1M. Views per sponsored post come from the median Reel reach of about 30% of followers (Instagram) and from the price ranges per tier divided by the CPM (YouTube, TikTok).
